Uptake of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention–recommended human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccine is low in the general population, and a new study suggests that it is even lower among children and young adults with autoimmune diseases such as lupus, psoriatic arthritis, and inflammatory bowel disease.
